Was It Good For You?

ICSE 97 is just about history. ICSE 98 is right around the corner. or so it may seem to the conference organizers. A lot of hard work and time went into making this into what some (but maybe not all) may think to be the best ICSE in years.

We are all entitled to our opinions, and, as professionals, we all have responsibilities too. Given the plethora of conferences, workshops, and seminars, there must be some reason that you made the effort to be here (and for some of you that are reading this from afar, there may be some reason you or others choose not to come).

So, this is your chance to do the "write" thing. Feedback, as Manny Lehman reminded us, is essential for any process to evolve. If ICSE is to evolve, then we can only do it with your help. I know this sounds like your typical "If you are not part of the solution, then maybe you are part of the problem," rah-rah talk, but it is clear to some of us... as the theme of ICSE 97 stated, that we can do it, if we all start "Pulling Together" by filling out an ICSE 97 Evaluation Form or contacting a conference organizer.
