IEEE Fellow AwardProfessor Marvin Zelkowicz of the University of Maryland was recognized as an IEEE Fellow yesterday. He was one of the 240 fellows elected, from the 650 members who were nominated. Zelkowicz is a professor of Computer Science and is credited for writing the first general textbook on software engineering as well as making outstanding contributions in the fields of quantitative modeling.
