To ICSE attendees:
I am sorry to inform you that there have been some complications regarding making room reservations at the conference hotel.
Please be advised that sometimes the web-based reservation system will indicate that there are no rooms available, when this is really not the case. (Of course sometimes, unfortunately, it is the case.)
The hotel has assured me that everyone who wants to stay at the Marriott, will be able to ... but they may not be able to stay at this Marriott. There are 3 Marriott properties (a Courtyard, Spring Hill Suites, and Fairfield Inn) all within a 5-7 minute free hotel shuttle bus ride; all with special discount conference rates.
The phone reservations are knowledgeable about this situation and will be more than happy to take your reservation and split your room nights (if necessary) between the conference hotel and the adjacent properties. Note, however, that overflow rooms for pre-main conference dates (May 19th-21st) will not be available for booking until Friday, March 29th.
Still, it is important to make your reservations as soon as possible to guarantee the most convenient arrangements.
